The RACQ CQ Rescue privacy scheme is based on the Privacy Act 1988, with the amendments made by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 following, 10 National Privacy Principles (NPP's) The principles provide strict rules for how we collect, store, use and disclose your personal information.

Personal information held by RACQ CQ Rescue may include your name, date of birth, current and previous addresses, telephone/mobile phone number, e-mail address, bank account or credit card details, occupation, employer's name, relationships.
If you choose not to provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the services you require, or a high level of service.

RACQ CQ Rescue collects personal information in a number of ways, including:

When Using Online Services
Personal information provided to RACQ CQ Rescue when you send us an e-mail message or other electronic formats will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it. Your details will not be added to the general mailing list. Unless required by law, RACQ CQ Rescue will not disclose this information without your consent.
